Missing stuff... or brain cells?

Sat Nov 7, 2009, 10:37 PM
Apparently I thought I had posted my Stephen Christian drawing (Anberlin singer). Went looking for it in my gallery and never found it. I find it hard to believe I didn't post it here cause at the time it was my best... either I am losing my mind or some of my stuff here is missing.
I hate that cause it is a good drawing and all, but I've already hung it up on my closet door... putting it down and scanning might damage it, but it should be here! I may do it tommorrow. Says the procrastinator. HA!

Another rare appearance of blogging...

It has been over a month now but I can't shake the aftermath of seeing Muse live in Raleigh (not that I want to). I'm so much more obsessed now than I was before, and I already was watching the HAARP DVD almost religiously. Now I'm constantly searching my DVR for anything of Muse, always on the message boards, and drawing stuff Muse related. I think its safe to say that October 3 was the best day of my life! I'm still hoping that soon we will hear the dates for The Resistance Tour here in the States, though I already know the set list rather well. I don't care. I feel like I gotta see them again, and again, and again. And I want to go back in time to 2005 to the Disco Rodeo in Raleigh. I saw the set list from that gig and its even more awesome!

Anyways, Illustration class went abysmally wrong. I don't think I can recover. School's becoming a bit rough for me. I'm trying my hardest not to give up on it though the temptation is there. I pulled through with honors for my Associates, so I won't give up on my BFA so easily!

And my good friends with the Un-Intentionals improv group are having a couple shows this weekend. I saw it yesterday and I am going again tonight! If you're ever in the Raleigh area on the first weekend of every month you should check them out.

Oh, and I heard NBC named David Tennant in a role as a Chicago lawyer for their pilot of "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer". I nearly fell out of my seat reading this! We already have him for PBS's "Masterpiece Contemporary", and now he's gonna be on NBC? AWESOME!!! I may have some new Tennanty friends once this airs! LOL He's still mine though. :P hahaha! Didn't see an air date fir this though, but I will watch and wait!!!

One more thing... [link] new Undisclosed Desires video. I love those aviator shades of Matt's! (swoons)

Kickin it in NC!

Finally, finally got to see MUSE! They were playing with U2 at Carter Finley Stadium in Raleigh on October 3, and it was the BEST DAY EVARRRR!! I just wish Muse was the headliner. Still, it was epic and grand, and I hope The Resistance USA tour comes this way in the Spring! I tried photos but my camera was crap.

Since then, I've been madly obsessed. All I can think about is Muse Muse Muse.

On top of all that, other things have happened. I got really dizzy and nauseous three times in a month, but I seem to be fine now. Scary times they were.

Finally have my Associates Degree in hand, got my Adobe CS4 for my BFA program and am starting to play with that a lot.

I am an assistant stage manager this fall for Orange Community Players' production of "Smoke On The Mountain". This is my first time in a behind the scenes role. I tried out but failed to land a part for this one, but am glad to accept this role because I love theatre.

That basically sums up what is up! Still ever the procrastinator as always! Cheers :)

.. I know I haven't been on here. Been busy with school and crap.. thankfully school hasn't been crap! I've constructed a new blog for me, work in progress... just using a premade layout right now. If you're interested, its at [link] .

Secondly, I am graduating on September 5 with an AABA in Business Administration. I just started classes Monday for my BFA in Web Design and I am very excited.

Thirdly, I have photos and images I need to post. Hopefully I will get to them all.

That's about it. Had to take down all my LOL DOCS, I'm sure many of you know why. It's all good though.. I can still draw my Doctor! ;)

Changes since last posting

Well, DA community, things have really gone crazy in the last few months. I quit Sonny's after being screwed over for the 100th billionth time of not getting paid on time and in full, and also being told how to spend my money by the boss.. I lost my cool and stormed out. I don't regret it, no matter how broke I am. Spiritually, my life is starting to pick up the pieces. Being away from that nightmarish place allows me to focus more on God. I'm not nearly as consistently stressed as I once was. I'm writing and drawing a lot more, and I have time for schoolwork as well. Still, I hope to find a good job lead soon! Also found a new church home in Wake Forest, I travel roughly 45 minutes to an hour to go but its worth it. I'll be going on a retreat with them later this month. I'll probably have some great new stuff after that with nature shots and perhaps new writings. And I am also single. I broke up with Will in January. Toughest phone call I ever had to make, but again, no regrets. I'm happier now, and he's moved on.
For my Doctor Who fanatics, looking forward to that new episode this week!
Also sad Battlestar Galactica has reached its end... what a show. Looking forward to Caprica next month!
Anyways, again, I'm not dead. I just keep forgetting about this thing here. heh. I'll post new stuff. I pu-wom-iss!
